Web presence.

On the maps I put a link to the website so I think the next step is to sort out web presence and so all of the information decided on can be applied to communicate to a larger audience.

These are the strongest colours for the identity I think from the range I've been using and I wanted to show the corner of the room as the background, while applying the logo too.

Experimenting with outlining the grid for the website as I think to accomodate all the information it needs to be structures. The pattern of the back also means it might be awkward to apply all the info too.

Above I tried out the logo pattern, however I think this would over complicate the design with added type and images.

I've settled on simplistic collums, with differing top heights. The navigation bar is along the top in white to contrast to the background. The logotype was used too, similar to the packs, to avoid the dreaded overkill of logo....which I think may be close with this brief...

Gill sans has proved to be an interesting typeface to work with, created for visibility far away, it works well for a logo, but above you can see that in upper case on the website it looks a bit ridiculous! Especially that big so I needed to scale it down.

I have included a count down to add suspense to the website and to make it really clear when the tour begins.

This is currently the outcome for the website, I have tweaked it so all of the images are the same width as the ones in there collum, otherwise it looked a bit odd. this layout allowed for a lot of images, whhich I think works well for the intended audience. It also allows for a constant stream of information for coninuous updates.

The continuous posts allow for the date to be added to keep track of how up to date the information is. There is also a button to allow for more information regarding the relevant information.

There is an option to join as a member, including student discounts, and then when logged in, the news feed will allow for more control over which events, lectures etc that come up.

For the navigation bar a simplstic drop down menu appears for your selection.

By using the same grid it made designing the other pages a lot simpler, also I had the information from the posters which I applied in a similar format. I think keeping all the information together it makes a clearer navigation.

I decided to break up each of the collums still as I think its a nice break and space between each of the areas of information.

The ticket selection and purchasing is kept simple. Highlighted by a 'buy' button in red, which stands out from the rest of the page.

To design the app, it was a little tricky to decide on the most appropriate spacings and arrangement.

Putting the navigation bar down the left of the page caused the images to be too small, so I am going to continue to play around with the layout.

Some things are guaranteed such as the background, logo and countdown as the outcome needed to reflect the website as much as possible.

I started playing round with the grid on a much smaller level, which I think works a lot better for apps.

each stage is obviously navigable and also I have added social media to the website and app as I think these will be relevant to the target audience and is another way of publicising the event
