stationary

Once the business cards were sorted, we had a brand that she was happy with, next was the stationary, it was initially mocked up in photoshop on this mock up, so I could get her approval. There were a few variations but unlike my type tour, due to this being a live brief there wasnt a huge opportunity to get that experimental with the application of the logo.

During a crit, when I showed a piece of her work Andy mentioned how when folded, say for a letter, this would work really well as its symmetry would allow for an identical image, or even further interesting outcomes.

For a notelet, she didnt need her contact information on the piece, but simply a sign off at the bottom. The logo was applied at the top, visually this is really simple, but she was happy with the results and the simplicity...

The same was applied to the letter heads, however, there was more information applied to the bottom as these would be sending out a more formal message.

This pattern works really well on the back, and I cant wait to print them out as I think they create something really different from standardised stationary. Despite being bold colours, because the image doesnt go to the edge of the page, it creates quite subtle decoration.
