During another meeting with fine art we heard some of their feedback regarding the spreads we'd present to them. Most significantly they had decided that the didnt want the three buzzwords that had been taken from each artists statements that were running along each image. This was due to them not thinking they were a true representation of the work it had been paired with and may look like the pieces titles. This was a valid request, however visually it takes away from some of the aesthetic which is added, as there is a lot of white space on the double page spreads, it also removes a factor of the identity we wanted to communicate but as a team we did what the client requested and decided we should make it up in another way somehow
The sizes of the images was something else that needed to be addressed, like the image above, it was not large enough to stretch so I edited this and made it the correct size for the image size.
Finally we got the last few students work and portraits which was good after waiting a while.
After a discussion we decided that by breaking the layout for the above artist it would be the only spread except from the rules so I edited the image and moved it to the top, still allowing suspense, but within the rules of the conceptual layout
