When working through what sophie wanted it was important to her that she would be able to create an ever changing visual for her constant development.
I initially thought that the most effective way would be to have her work change on the back of the buiness cards, however, this seems VERY dull.
I have done this quick mock up for her to see how it would look like, I also asked her in our meeting about what sort of typefaces she'd be interested in but she had nothing immediately in mind. So I sent her a few so she could review these.
I didnt want to start to make too many choices for her as I thought that in the long run it wouldnt result in anything good, I wanted to let her make a lot of the decisions so I could treat thsi like a proper client run brief.
When considering the continuous change and developement I started thinking about how progress can be represented. And came up with the concept of ellipsis in text (...) this dot dot dot always insinuates progress and that theres more to come, so I thought that this would be a great idea for how to present her work, within three 'dots' or circles.
It works really well at the bottom of the card, as it is visually pleasing but I think it does suggest something more is to come.
